The easiest way to reach Gilbert is by the U3 metro line or tram line 49. From Volkstheater station (Burggasse exit), it\u2019s about a 200-meter walk to Breite Gasse 9. Volkstheater station is an important inner-city transport hub; via the underground Bellaria passage, it connects the MuseumsQuartier and the Ringstra\u00dfe, which is about 300 meters away. From the stops of tram lines 1, 2, 71, D, and 48A, you can also reach your hotel in about 8\u201310 minutes.<\/p> <\/span>\n <\/dd>\n

\n \n How do I get to the city?<\/span>\n <\/svg><\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/dt>\n

Gilbert is located right in the heart of Vienna\u2019s social life. The MuseumsQuartier is only about 100 meters away. The Natural History Museum, the Art History Museum, and the Ringstra\u00dfe are all within a 10-minute walk. The U3 metro line takes you directly to St. Stephen\u2019s Cathedral in just a few minutes.<\/p> <\/span>\n <\/dd>\n

\n \n How do I get to the airport?<\/span>\n <\/svg><\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/dt>\n

You can reach the airport by public transport \u2013 the easiest way is to take the U3 line to Landstra\u00dfe\/Wien Mitte station. From there, the City Airport Train (CAT) and the S7 suburban train run directly to Vienna Airport approximately every 30 minutes.<\/p>

By car, it\u2019s best to drive via Gumpendorfer Stra\u00dfe, Getreidemarkt, and Heumarkt, then continue via Dampfschiffstra\u00dfe to the A4 motorway junction, which takes you directly to the airport. In good traffic conditions, the journey takes about 30 minutes.<\/p>

\n \n Where am I allowed to park?<\/span>\n <\/svg><\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/dt>\n

Parking throughout Vienna\u2019s 7th district is subject to fees on public parking spaces, and in many areas parking is reserved for residents only. Gilbert therefore recommends using one of the nearby (paid) underground garages, for example at the MuseumsQuartier.<\/p>

Electric cars can be charged at public charging stations operated by Wien Energie. The nearest ones are located at Breite Gasse 10\u201312 or Siebensterngasse 11.<\/p> <\/span>\n <\/dd>\n <\/dl>\n \n <\/section>\n\n \t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

At Gilbert, you\u2019re always welcome. You can of course check in on your day of arrival whenever you like and already enjoy the hospitality of &flora or explore the surroundings. Your room will be ready for you from 3:00 PM.<\/p> <\/span>\n <\/dd>\n

\n \n By what time do I need to check out?<\/span>\n <\/svg><\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/dt>\n

It\u2019s a shame you\u2019re leaving, but we kindly ask you to check out by 11:00 AM on your departure day so Gilbert can get ready for the next guests. Late check-out is only possible upon arrangement with the reception. Please ask by midday the day before at the latest \u2013 then Gilbert will do everything possible to make it happen.<\/p> <\/span>\n <\/dd>\n

\n \n I have limited mobility. How can I book an accessible room?<\/span>\n <\/svg><\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/dt>\n

Please be sure to contact Gilbert in advance by phone or email with your request. We will then find the best room for you and check whether our accessible room is available. All public areas at Gilbert are fully accessible, so you can of course enjoy all the amenities at Breite Gasse 9 in a wheelchair as well.<\/p> <\/span>\n <\/dd>\n

\n \n Am I allowed to bring my dog?<\/span>\n <\/svg><\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/dt>\n

You are welcome to bring your dog, but only with prior notice and subject to the house rules being acknowledged in advance. We charge a fee of \u20ac30.00 per day.<\/p> <\/span>\n <\/dd>\n <\/dl>\n \n <\/section>\n\n \t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. For our hotel guests, we serve breakfast Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 10:30 AM, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 7:30 to 11:00 AM.<\/p> <\/span>\n <\/dd>\n
